Delete your Aloe account.

You have two ways to request account deletion:

• In the Aloe app: open the Journal tab, open account settings, and choose Delete account.
• By email: email aloeai@studioeastgate.com from the email address on your Aloe account and ask us to delete your account.

We may ask you to confirm the request so we can protect your account from unauthorized deletion.

You can also request deletion of specific Aloe data without deleting your whole account. Email aloeai@studioeastgate.com from the email address on your Aloe account and describe what you want deleted, such as meal photos, chat history, food logs, check-ins, or synced Apple Health or Health Connect records.

We may ask you to confirm the request and may keep records that are necessary for legal, security, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Account deletion removes the personal data Aloe uses to provide the app, including:

• Account profile data, including your name and email address.
• Onboarding answers, goals, dietary preferences, and conditions.
• Food logs, meal photos, nutrition estimates, and check-ins.
• Chat history and AI coaching context.
• Apple Health or Health Connect data synced into Aloe.
• Push notification tokens and device-specific app records.

Some records may be retained where necessary for legal, security, or financial reasons:

• Subscription and billing records may be retained for up to 7 years to meet financial recordkeeping obligations.
• Support, fraud-prevention, security, or legal records may be kept as long as needed to resolve the matter or comply with law.
• Encrypted backups are overwritten on our normal backup cycle, usually within 90 days.

We begin processing verified account deletion requests within 7 days. Personal data is purged from active systems within 30 days. Backup copies are overwritten on the normal backup cycle, usually within 90 days.
